Billy White writes the weekly Time Waster review for GiN. As you might expect, this makes him the embodiment of procrastination at GiN, which works out perfectly since his job is to find fun ways to waste time. Billy came up with the idea behind GiN's Weekly Time Waster when he realized that a lot of great but smaller games don't get the attention they deserve. It helps that he spends a lot of his free time spelunking the Internet for the best browser based games.
When not "wasting time" Billy likes to delve into the world of RPG's, and it doesn't matter what type of RPG it is. From Elder Scrolls to Final Fantasy and all the way to tabletop RPG's, Billy loves them all. To go along with this, he loudly proclaims to anyone who will listen that Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross are the two best games to ever exist and hopes that one day his write-in campaign will convince Square Enix to revisit the series.
Magic: the Gathering, Hot Rods, and Limp Bizkit. This week’s Time Waster is the one where Billy truly proves just how geeky he is. We’d call him a nerd, but even nerds don’t listen to Limp Bizkit, do they? Hot Rod Racing to the rescue!
Not every time waster is a current day thing. This week Billy reviews Burger Jack, a game he thinks should have wasted his time long ago. Too little, too late is the Time Waster’s opinion.
Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi is yet another entry in the wildly popular Dragon Ball Z lineup. This time we get custom characterization and easier fighting.
NO, it’s not XKCD on your gaming screen! This week Billy and the Time Waster takes on CRUMPLED! An adventure so cool it could kill your GPA on notebook paper. It’s a rousing good time for stick figures and blobs. Don’t miss out!
It’s Time for the Weekly Time Waster! And this time Billy gets hacked! dotHack! Maybe that’s why we always run the time waster on the weekend when everyone’s not at work. Can’t set a bad example, after all.
Beat Hazard challenges you to load up your own music into the game, and use it to drive your defensive firepower. Better hope you like heavy metal and not folk in this week’s Time Waster.
Everything old is new again with Sonic Generations, featuring memorable gameplay and levels from classic Sonic games, reworked to play perfectly on modern systems.
Billy and the Time Waster have found love…true love. Honestly, he’s WAY too young to be feeling this level of nostalgia. I’m not even sure he was alive when all of this happened. Some kids these days. Anyway, enjoy Abobo!
In this week’s Time Waster Billy finds himself slinging the baby. No, that doesn’t mean THAT. It just means he’s flinging immature humans with a slingshot. But it’s OK. There are Doritos involved.
Look out, Time Wasters! "This is the Only Level 3" challenges you to solve the same level over and over again, but in different ways, even taking objects from places like the scoreboard.
