Chris Ruskin is an aspiring writer who has a particular fondness for Bioware-style RPG's and experiences a sort sadistic/loving relationship with From Software games like Bloodborne. Some of his favorite games of all time include: The Mass Effect and Dragon Age series, The Last of Us, Valkyria Chronicles, Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War, Destiny, and Devil May Cry 3. When he’s not playing games he’s usually writing, studying, watching anime, or occasionally playing guitar.

Brigador is an amazing new indie title that somehow seems to combine the best elements of games like MechCommander and Hotline Miami into a neon-drenched kill-fest featuring an almost completely destructible environment for your mechs to conquer.
Broken Bots is an 8-bit neon shooter similar in speed and style to Hotline Miami. While it certainly has its shortcomings, its entry-level price and totally over-the-top chaotic gameplay make it an exciting, if somewhat mindless, diversion.
Phantaruk is the first attempt at a horror game from indie developer Polyslash. While it provides an interesting setting and backstory, this freshman outing is likely too flawed to gain widespread success in the increasingly crowded horror genre.
Most people will never change their mouse pad other than, perhaps, when they spill something on it. However, the Accessory Power GX-MP5 and GX-MP6 gaming pads make a compelling argument for more proactive thinking, lending a hand towards better play and higher scores.
While Voxel art styles are a dime a dozen, The Kindred manages to set itself apart with its sim-survival elements, beautiful world and a high ceiling for growth. It may still be in Steam Early Access, but The Kindred shows exceptional progress and offers a high level of fun even now.
The Rooster Teeth Expo, or RTX, is rapidly becoming one of the premier gaming conventions for the southwest, attracting over 60,000 visitors this year. We sent one of the GiN team down to Austin, Texas to check out this year’s amazing show.
A walking simulator in the vein of P.T. and The Stanley Parable, Asemblance is a trip that is deep in thought and feeling, but short in actual doing. Give this creepy thriller a try if you dare, but know going in that only the developers have been able to find the most complete ending to the story.
