Making a rare trip back to Earth so Captain Picard can give the commencement address at Starfleet Academy’s graduation ceremonies, the Enterprise receives word that Wesley Crusher has been involved in an accident. While Wes survives, there’s something just off enough about the cadets’ stories that Captain Picard must investigate to discover why a young cadet lost his life.
