China Bans Hearts of Iron

China has banned a Swedish-made computer game for "distorting history and damaging China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity," the Ministry of Culture (MOC) for China said Friday. The PC game, "Hearts of Iron", was accused of distorting historical facts in describing the Fascist regimes of Japan, Germany and Italy during World War II. AT&T Gets Turbine Multiplayer Contract

Turbine Entertainment Software Corp., a premier provider of online subscription entertainment, today announced it selected AT&T to provide hosting services that support the company’s first self-published online computer games. The dollar value of the contract was not disclosed.
