With a new year upon us, Todd Hardcore looks back to give out such infamous honors as the "Dumbass of the Year" and the "Mind**** 2009." Oh, and he liked a couple things about 2009 too.
Tony Hawk: Ride features an innovative skateboard controller, but for $120, it offers more frustration than thrills for the average player finding it under their tree.
Todd tells us what cool games and gadgets he wants to find under his tree this year. And for the most part, its just replacement parts for a run of bad luck.
We end our Modern Warfare 2 coverage (finally, for now) with Todd’s report that EA is "rebooting" the Medal of Honor franchise to feature modern combat. And so begins the real game, "chase the money."
Todd better watch out because Kelly is taking the whole Modern Warfare 2 thing a little too far. Between dodging random shots, he is able to chat with hostess Kelly about DJ Hero, Band Hero, Borderlands, Assassins Creed 2 and of course, MW2.
Even with the death of Colin McRae, his series continues to thrive, though with more of an X-games feel. DiRT 2 gets it right, and looks amazing at the same time.
The Warriors: Street Brawl, now available for Xbox Live, is taking aim at The Warriors cult hit movie, though less successfully than the original Rockstar Games title.
Although Assassin's Creed II is out for all platforms, Sony has the exclusive right to advertise the game. Hence, it looks like a PS3 exclusive title. And Todd says that is too misleading.
One of the most anticipated games of the holiday season arrives like a nuclear blast. We find a complex shooter, amazing visuals, a strong story and lots and lots of bullets in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
