Todd is a founding member of GiN and speaks from an "old school" gamer's perspective. Embracing the notions of all classic gaming, game soundtracks, and the original "hardcore style," he also shuns the trends he feels are ruining the game industry, such as the embracement of 3D, the over-saturation of MMOs, and misleading game advertising.
There have been a very few limited windows in the game industry when true platform crossplay almost happened. But you might have to go back to 56K modems to find them. Really, console crossplay’s time has come, so why is someone dragging it’s feet?

The evolving Xbox Game Pass service is now offering many first-run, new games for unlimited play, for just the $10 monthly fee. This is giving Todd access to new games like Sea of Thieves and classics like Mad Max. Retailers however, my go to war over it.
