Vincent is a game reviewer, graphic designer, illustrator and insurance agent: He wears many hats, but none of them properly cover his bald spot. His long-term goal is to publish a comic of the story he and his wife created together. He grew up playing action-platform games such as Super Mario, Metroid, Mega Man, Contra and Castlevania, but discovered his love for RPGs through Super Mario RPG and Final Fantasy VI, then embarking upon a quest to play every RPG he possibly can. At over 200 RPGs and counting the quest is not going so well, and there are buster swords, giant cats, eight virtues and personae appearing to him in his sleep. Please send help.

This week, Vincent takes on his JRPG arch nemesis in Arc Rise Fantasia while chowing down on delicious Elite Chef Brigade. It is a tantalizing tale of bad voice acting, al dente food puns, and surprisingly fun games that most gamers would never know about.
This week on the GiN Lounge, the guys examine modern gaming conventions that drive them nuts. This includes day one patches and releasing broken games. Neal also swears there is a correlation between Butterfingers and Final Fantasy VII DLC, and only time will tell if he’s right about something for once.
This week Vincent looks at a GameCube robot smashing game and an PlayStation rougelite and realizes that maybe, just maybe, it might be time to take a small break from the rougelites. It’s time for One Step From Eden and Custom Robo this week.
The guys are back and talking about the news from Nintendo Direct. This includes new launches, planned releases and Neal not being able to remember the name of a game with a shape in it. Another usual day in the lounge.
This week our Save State columnist becomes Pauline Bonaparte in Banner of the Maid (which he accidentally bought) and then goes dual sword slicing in the critically underappreciated Now More Heroes 2.
Those who miss the halcyon days of platforming greatness on the NES will also immediately fall in love with Cyber Shadow. It’s an action packed adventurous game that is packed with nostalgia, but also packs its own punch.
