We almost said that winter is coming, but wait, that would be a completely different series of books. No, this week Michael is up to book eight in the October Daye series by Seanan McGuire, which was recently converted over to audiobook format. Things are really heating up in this series with The Winter Long!
This week Michael listens to Chimes at Midnight on audiobook. Things finally seem to be settling down for October Daye in this one, at least until dead changelings start appearing in the alleys of San Francisco.
Michael is continuing to review popular audio books, and dives into Ashes of Honor this week. Book Six of the October Daye series might at first seem like a giant epilogue, but it quickly evolves into something great.
Michael has been loving the October Daye series since it moved to audio books, but One Salt Sea is the best so far, with lots of action, plot twists and the introduction of Sea-Fae.
Although An Artificial Night may have less mystery than previous audio books in the October Daye series that Michael has been reviewing, the stakes are raised to the extreme with this one, making it an ideal third book.
Michael continues his review of some of the best audio books on the market today, and finds himself falling in love with Seanan McGuire’s October Daye series, in this case, A Local Habitation.
This week Michael dives into another cool audiobook covering the world of Faerie with Seanan McGuire’s Rosemary and Rue. In print or as an audio title, Rosemary and Rue is one great story.
