GiN Reporter Marie Brownhill was able to attend the Comics and Popular Arts Conference at DragonCon this year, and even got to talk to luminaries like Dr. Carl Dull, who ran a panel on the Philosophical Perspectives of Japanese Anime.
Sony pulled out all the stops for the Paris Games Week, including revealing many exclusive titles coming out for the PlayStation 4. Exclusive new titles included Horizon Zero dawn and Matterfall from Housemarque.
Sony’s press conference finished on a high note, as David Cage, of Quantic Dreams, announced a new game called Detroit: Become Human, with a trailer. Detroit is based on the character Kara, the female android featured in a tech demo Quantic created in 2012.
DragonCon has always been known for its excellent, all-inclusive cosplayers, and 2015 was no exception. Our reporter wandered among the masses this year, pointing out a few that were exceptionally impressive.
