As Michael Burnham and Joann Owosekun head off to a mysterious pleasure barge owned by a former contact to acquire valuable sensor data, Book and Tarka seek out the same individual to acquire illegal isolynium. Burnham must prevent Book from getting the isolynium, and they settle down to do battle for it over a high stakes game of poker.
