Summer in Mara is one of the latest in the series of casual crafting and simulation games like Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon. It’s not a bad game, but doesn’t really do too much to break from the pack. Kind of like the real summer in 2020, its okay, but not nearly the best ever for most people.

Loosely based on a wacky Japanese game show, Fall Guys is taking the world by storm. It offers 60-player pandemonium-fueled multiplayer matches randomly selected from a pool of 20 ridiculous levels. The biggest challenge might be holding back your laughter long enough to seriously compete.

Remaking a SpongeBob game from the PlayStation 2 era seemed like a good idea on paper. But perhaps SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle For Bikini Bottom Rehydrated reaches back too far. Unfortunately, it feels like a PS2 era game when gamers probably really want a brand new SpongeBob title.
Carrion is an action oriented puzzle type game where you play a poor, gelatinous and toothy monster looking to get some violent revenge on the evil humans who have imprisoned you. It’s a unique experience playing the monster, and so very bloody fun!
Those of you who remember the excellent River Raid game for the Atari 2600 will really appreciate Bridge Strike for the Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms. It’s got the same classic arcade action, but with a lot more bang for your bridges.
Vigor is a free to play shooter that is a lot of fun, especially if you are stuck in quarantine and looking for something cool to do with your Xbox One or Switch consoles. It’s got good tactical elements for smart players, even if the gunplay is a touch weak.

In CHANGE: A Homeless Survival Experience, you are tasked with surviving on the cold streets of a nameless city filled with uncaring and indifferent people. Made by a team that was almost homeless themselves, it offers a unique and difficult gaming adventure.
There are games that never get old, and Burnout is one of them. It’s still packing a massive punch after all these years with it’s no-rules racing. Burnout Paradise: Remastered slams over to the Nintendo Switch, and brings with it tons of white-hot, fiery crashes.
Never Breakup is a game for the Nintendo Switch that is meant to be played with another person sitting right there beside you. Given the pandemic, that wasn’t possible for our reviewer, and playing this one alone is a tough challenge.
