Dead Cells is flat out difficult, but it’s the good kind of difficult. It punishes poor play, rewards skill, and most importantly, never makes you feel as though you’re stuck. This all makes for a highly enjoyable experience where you wont mind dying again and again.

CrossCode is a game that lots of fans of the simulated RPG genre have been watching for years in its long development slog. Finally released, CrossCode is packed with content that will keep players engaged for hours on end, though towards the end of the story, this may not be such a good thing. Immortal: Unchained is a clone of the Souls series, with the one real differentiator being a reliance on guns over melee weapons. This could have set up some interesting gameplay, but sadly, it will likely fall a little short of expectations.
