Welcome Time Wasters! This week I fell back to my phone for my time wasting needs and I discovered a mobile version of an immensely entertaining PC game: Prop Hunt. Well, it’s more of a mod than an actual game. Prop Hunt Mobile is exactly what it sounds like; a mobile version of Prop Hunt for the PC. For those who don’t know, Prop Hunt is a game in Gmod that has players split into two teams to try and outsmart each other. The first team plays as props. They are given 20 seconds to hide from the other team. … Continue reading Hiding in Prop Hunt Mobile→

Welcome Time Wasters! I was into yet another deep game this week with Abyss (Deep game. Abyss. Chasm. Yeah, I’m not as funny as I think I am.), a browser-based game that puts players in the role of a bird in a volcano. There’s not much in the way of story to Abyss. The app review this week centers around Bog Racer, a game that has enough 80’s charm to fill up an arcade. Our reviewer loved it, even though on most of his runs, his speed buggy ended up all wet.
Welcome Time Wasters! This week my search for a time waster lead me around the internet until I discovered a neat little game called HYDRA. HYDRA is a hack-n-slash game viewed from the side that pits the players against a deadly hydra. There isn’t really a story as to why the player has to fight the hydra, it’s just there and needs to be killed. The only problem is that it can’t be. HYDRA is a high-score game that challenges players to cut off as many heads of the hydra as they can. Each head destroyed counts as a single … Continue reading Killing the HYDRA!→
