For those who appreciate puzzle games, Semispheres is one of the most innovative we’ve seen in a while. It’s calm and serene on the surface, but it’s challenges are downright diabolical once you get behind that pretty facade.
This week out Time Waster is lost in Red’s Kingdom trying to find his missing nuts after they were stolen by an evil king.
Pavilion is a hauntingly beautiful puzzle game with a gorgeous art style and some interesting levels, plus a surreal, dreamlike quality. Anyone who enjoyed Monument Valley, or who loves unique puzzle experiences in general, should certainly give Pavilion a go.
Billy is wasting time this week with a Sokoban game called Goofy Monsters, but he has to learn what exactly what a Sokoban game is first.
This week out Time Waster is kicking back and relaxing in front of his computer with a puzzle game called Lines FRVR. Should you do the same?
Playdead’s Inside game is the spiritual sucessor to Limbo. If you haven’t played Limbo, just play Inside instead because it’s like the best version of Limbo – a perfect, atmospheric little puzzler with just the right mix of creepy mystery mixed in for good measure.
Crimson Room: Decade is a cute little locked room type of puzzler that can keep you busy for a greatly varying length of time, depending upon the player. It’s based on the classic 2004 title, but makes lots of improvements.
This week our Time Waster is using a time waster to give him a break from another time waster. That may sound tough to understand, but so is That Level Again 3.
This week out time Waster turned to his trusty smartphone companion to experience a turn-based puzzle game called Rust Bucket.
