Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together may be a remake of a much older game, but on the PSP, it really turns heads as a solid, good-looking tactical war game with heavy RPG elements.
While our reviewer loves the Kingdom Hearts series, he finds that Re:coded just doesn’t quite measure up to the other games. Instead, we have a mix of re-hashed and half-baked ideas.
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep is an amazing RPG for the PSP that’s every bit as good as the Kingdom Hearts titles out for full-size consoles.
Final Fantasy XIII quickly became the best-selling game of the long-running series. And seeing the stunning graphics, scorching battles and cool story, we can see why.
Final Fantasy: Dissidia on the PSP is a way to keep the legions of FF fans happy until the next inevitable full release of the series. And it does that job well. Anybody else however, is going to be hopelessly lost, and a touch bored.
Chain of Memories is the bridge title connecting Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II. But as a chain, it has quite a few weak links, and just doesn’t measure up.
If Square doesn’t stop sending halfway finished and highly rushed RPGs to the market, they risk their reputation as solid game developers. The Last Remnant doesn’t help their cause.
