Rise of the Tomb Raider Xbox One Exclusive

Microsoft’s media briefing ahead of Gamescom 2014 came the shock announcement that Rise of the Tomb Raider will be an “Xbox exclusive”.  As the follow-up game to the successful Tomb Raider reboot and Lara Croft’s latest adventure, this is a major coup for Microsoft and puts Sony on the back foot. It has been confirmed by the game’s developer, Crystal Dynamics, that Rise of the Tomb Raider will not be available for PS4 or PC. Needless to say, there has been an outcry from fans. It’s been a long, slow summer, with games releases very thin on the ground. All is not lost, dear play chums.
