This week for Anime Sunday I’m covering the first series of the 2016 Winter season that surprised me! It’s ERASED, or Boku Dake ga Inai Machi in Japanese!

Plot Synopsis: The story follows Satoru Fujinuma, a man who possesses an ability that sends him back in time moments before a life-threatening incident, allowing him to prevent it from happening.

Plot: The plot of this first episode is wonderful, and I loved it. I won’t spoil anything, but I’m now fully hooked on this show. And I really look forward to watching this for the rest of the season.

Characters: Satoru is a great main character, and his ability to go back in time to prevent accidents is pretty interesting. Airi and Satoru’s mother are also pretty interesting and I’m looking forward to seeing what goes on between Airi and Satoru.

Art: The artwork is amazing, but not ufotable quality unfortunately. That being said I’m not too upset by that as it is still very well done. I hope this quality can be kept through the entire season.

Music: Excellent and fits this series perfectly so far.

Overall: This is looking to be one of the more amazing shows of this season! It’s a must watch thus far.
