Hey all I’m back with a novel I could’ve sworn I had covered before but apparently I haven’t yet. It’s The Godking’s Legacy, Book 01 of the Godking’s Legacy series, by Virlyce!

Plot: The plot is pretty fun, it’s a very western take on the Xianxia genre and does poke fun at it pretty often. If you ever thought the characters of those stories were completely unreasonable murderous jerks, this is the authors take on that while maintaining an actually fun main character. Sure the plot is incredibly ridiculous, but it’s funny and will make you laugh.

Characters: Lucia is our main character and while I enjoy her quite a bit, it’s really the other major characters that made me enjoy the story the most. In particular Ilya was easily my favorite character, although Puppers is also fun.

Overall: A very fun take on the Xianxia genre.
