This week for Manga Monday I’ve got another Quick Review! It’s 7th Garden by Izumi Mitsu!

Plot Synopsis: Awyn Gardner will do anything to protect the beautiful mistress of the equally beautiful estate gardens he lovingly tends…

Plot: The plot of this first chapter introduces us to Awyn and Mary as well as one other, although her name is a bit spoilerish. I really enjoyed this first chapter, and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. It’s full of plenty of action, potential romances and drama.

Characters: Awyn seems to be just a simple gardener, but it’s fairly obvious from the first few pages that he is a lot more than that. Mary on the other hand is just a simple nobleman’s daughter who Awyn cares quite a bit about. It’s also fairly obvious that she cares for him. The rest of the cast is decent, although I hope we get to see more fleshed out characters in future chapters.

Art: Given that this is published by Shueisha the art in this is amazing. Full of excellent linework and plenty of amazingly well drawn panels.

Overall: This is definitely getting my go ahead, I’m looking forward to reading more of the series.

For those who like: Fantasy, Action, Drama, Political Intrigue, Magic, Romance, Excellent Plot, Fantastic Cast of Characters, Amazing Artwork.

Not for those who don’t like: Any of the above, but how can you hate that?
