This week for Manga Monday I’m covering a series I read a few years back. It’s Cerberus by Fukui Takumi!

Plot Synopsis: Kei often gets involved in fights, despite him being weak and always end up losing. One day, while helping to bring some textbooks to an old building of his school, he and his childhood friend, Tomoe, are attacked by a monster.

Plot: The plot is pretty serious, but if I had any intention of reading this again in the near future I’d have done this series for a Sensate Saturday. Despite it being a serious series, I couldn’t bring myself to continue reading after twenty or so chapters. I’ll probably get to it someday, but that will be a long time off. It’s not a bad plot, but it’s nothing spectacular either.

Characters: Kei is an ass, except to those who he is close to. Tomoe actually is my favorite character, probably because she’s so earnest. The rest of the cast was okay.

Art: Nothing special, but not terrible either.

Overall: An easily skippable series.

For those who like: Mediocrity, Action.

Not for those who don’t like: Either of the above.
