Hey all, I’m back with another Anime Sunday with this week being a look ahead to the new season. It’s my Most Anticipated Spring 2025 Anime.

Old Man Sword Saint: The title of this series caught my eye, so I’ll admit I’m interested in it. Apparently, it’s an adaptation of a light novel series, but I’ve yet to read it myself so I don’t know whether it will be to my tastes or not. I look forward to finding out.

Kaitou Queen: I’ve always been a fan of the phantom thief archetype of characters, like Lupin, so seeing this pop up made me anticipate the upcoming season quite a lot. Given that this is an adaptation of a story from a novel that’s been in print for over 20 years now, I hope it won’t disappoint.

Honorable Mention:

Maebashi Witches: I know pretty much nothing about this series, except that it’s labeled as a coming of age story, and it is produced by Sunrise, the people who make the various Gundam series. Maybe it’ll be worth watching, so I’ll be keeping an eye out for this series in the coming season.
