Hey all, I’m back with a film from 2002 for this week’s Movie Monday. It’s The Adventures of Pluto Nash.

Plot: The Adventures of Pluto Nash was a sci-fi comedy which featured and pretty much revolved around Eddie Murphy. So, let’s not mince words: the plot is pretty bad. Honestly, this is one of the worst films that I’ve ever seen, but that’s not surprising given that it regularly makes various worst films of all time lists.

Casting: Eddie Murphy is the headline star of the movie playing Pluto Nash. He’s amazing as always, but even his stellar talent at acting and comedy can’t do enough to make this into a good film. The rest of the cast, of which there are several notable people, doesn’t help either.

Cinematography: The special effects aren’t anything to write home about either. It’s a sci-fi film, but there is nothing really spectacular about it. It all seems very low budget.

Music: The musical score was okay, but really nobody is going to notice when trying to watch this film.

Overall: It’s not worth watching. It’s not even in the “So bad it’s actually good” category. It’s just bad all around.
