Hey all, I’m back for this week’s Synth Saturday with more chapters detailing the adventures of Homura and the Kurosaki twins in a Fic that is a fusion between the Bleach and Madoka Magica settings.  It’s Chapters 26-30 of “As N Approaches Infinity” by Corisanna.

Plot: This set begins with the immediate aftermath of the events in the last set of chapters that included Karin Kurosaki turning into a witch in her grief over her twin sister Yuzu’s death. Honestly, this entire set of chapters is incredibly difficult to read because it just keeps hitting home over and over again how devastating the situation is to all the characters. It’s an excellent bit of writing, but it’s also very hard hitting and one of the most emotionally devastating things I’ve ever read due to that same quality.

Characters: We don’t get introduced to many new characters in this set. But we do get to read about some new ones in these chapters with Ichigo’s human friends. Homura really steals the show in this set though.

Overall: An excellent set of chapters but just be prepared to sob because of that same excellence.
