Hey all, I’m back for this week’s Synth Saturday with more chapters detailing the adventures of Homura and the Kurosakis in a Fic that is a fusion between the Bleach and Madoka Magica settings. It’s Chapters 31-35 of “As N Approaches Infinity” by Corisanna.

Plot: This set begins with the immediate aftermath of Karin Kurosaki taking her own life at the end of the last set of chapters after the death of her twin sister Yuzu. Let me say once again that this was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to read. This was not because it was poorly written, but because it was so excellently done. I had to fight back tears at times to continue reading. Honestly, that’s a major thing I’ve noticed in this particular arc in the fan fiction and boy does it do that oh so well. Things don’t get better from there sadly, and I won’t say more to avoid any spoilers.

Characters: There are a few new characters, but they don’t quite have much of an impact in this set of chapters. That isn’t to say they are characters that readers won’t know, but they don’t do much in this set.
