Hey all, I’m back for this week’s Synth Saturday with more chapters that center on someone who is reincarnated as Brock from the Pokemon anime and games, who is left in charge of 9 younger siblings in addition to running the Pewter City Gym. It’s Chapters 61-65 of “Hard Enough-Pokemon SI” by Viva01.

Plot: This set of chapters starts right after Gary Oak’s arrival to Pewter City and continues on from there. But it’s not all smooth sailing for Brock and company, as there are problems that are arising after Brock’s fight with Lance the previous year. I enjoyed this set of chapters just as much as the last one. Getting to see Gary Oak in this set, a character I watched in the Pokemon anime when I was younger, and reading about him now nearly 30 years later is something that I didn’t know I needed until I read this Fic.

Characters: We don’t get to meet many new characters, though I really do like how Viva01 decided to handle the matter of Gary’s cheerleading “girlfriends” that were in the original anime. I won’t spoil it for you all how, but it was utterly brilliant.

Overall: Another amazing set of chapters in a Fic that continues to be excellent.
