Hey all, I’m back for this week’s Synth Saturday with more chapters in a Fic that centers on someone who is reincarnated as Brock from the Pokemon anime and games, who is left in charge of 9 younger siblings in addition to running the Pewter City Gym. It’s Chapters 66-70 of “Hard Enough-Pokemon SI” by Viva01.

Plot: This set of chapters starts with an interlude that features various characters, beginning with Lance and going on from there. But the rest of the set is just as good since it shows how Brock begins to deal with the huge tide of trainers hitting the league and Pewter City in particular that year as it is traditionally the first stop for every trainer. To say he has his work cut out for him is a massive understatement, but I enjoyed seeing how he gets around the issue.

Characters: We get to see various characters and their views on what’s been happening, with Giovanni being one I was highly anticipating and was psyched to finally see in the very first chapter of this set. The rest of the set introduces some rather interesting characters that fans of the Pokemon franchise might recognize but not expect to be in the Kanto region. I won’t spoil who they are, but it was definitely a fun surprise.

Overall: Another solid and fun set of chapters in an amazing fan fiction.
