Hey all. I’m back, and we’re continuing with another set of chapters from my favorite Gundam Wing and SEED crossover for this week’s Synth Saturday.  It’s Chapters 21-25 of “New Battlefield” by operation.meteor!

Plot: The plot of this set of New Battlefield’s chapters is incredibly frenetic and action packed, starting off with a huge battle with Heero piloting Wing Zero at the center of a formation of six mobile suits attacking a destroyer and other enemy ships, and it just gets more insane from there. The story doesn’t hit its apex just quite yet, but it’s certainly building up to it, and this set of chapters really showcased how great operation.meteor is at introducing new characters that can really impact the entire story.

Characters: There are a bunch of new characters we get to meet in this set of chapters especially with all the officers and crew members of the different vessels.  Honestly, I enjoyed almost all of them. We also get to see a cameo of a particularly important character that won’t have any prominence until the next Fic in this series, but I won’t spoil who.

Overall: Another very solid set of chapters in a fic that I very much enjoy, and heartily recommend for any Gundam fans to read.
