Hey all, I’m back with another volume of Allen’s adventures for this week’s Translation Necessary Thursday. It’s “Hell Mode: Volume 03” by Hamuo!

Plot: This novel picks up with Allen and Cecil meeting up with Dogora and Krena at the Academy after the massive revelation of what is really going on in the novel’s world. Frankly, that big storyline bombshell was what really got me into the story, and I won’t say another word of it in case you haven’t read the previous two volumes. Needless to say, things are afoot, and it’s one hell of a ride.

Characters: We get introduced to a few new characters in this third volume of the Hell Mode book series. They are all interesting, though Keel is probably my favorite of the newcomers. Cecil is still my favorite character overall.

Overall: This is a great volume in the Hell Mode series. It really expands on that plot bombshell, so if you haven’t read the previous two volumes, you ought to by now.
