Hey all, I’m back with the fifth entry in Kousuke’s new life in another world for this week’s Translation Necessary Thursday. It’s “Survival in Another World With My Mistress Volume 05” by Ryuto.

Plot: In this fifth volume, it continues with Sylphyel’s liberation army’s campaign against the Holy Kingdom’s army. Kousuke starts off the book with a discussion with Sylphyel and her advisors on how best to bring the Holy Kingdom to the negotiating table without resorting to using explosive blocks like some terrorist. The rest of the book is just as fun.

Characters: We get to meet a few new characters, but mostly the volume focuses on the ones we’ve gotten to know thus far like Sylphy, Ira, Melty, and others along with the main character Kousuke, and that’s a good thing in my opinion.

Overall: A solid fifth entry in a fun Isekai series where the main character has abilities like in the world of Minecraft.
