Hey all, I’m back with the sixth entry in Kousuke’s new life in another world for this week’s Translation Necessary Thursday. It’s “Survival in Another World With My Mistress Volume 06”” by Ryuto.

Plot: In this volume, we get to see the fight taken back to the capital of Sylphyel’s kingdom where both her imprisoned family and the Saintess that Kousuke befriended now reside under the control of the Holy Kingdom. It’s a fairly fun entry in this series that has lots of action.

Honestly, it’s probably one of my more favored entries in the entire series. Speaking of which, I was surprised to learn that there is another volume that was released back in April of this year, and that there will also be more volumes of the series in the future. The reason I was surprised by this is that the word around the light novel community was that the series got axed, which is a surprise since I’ve enjoyed both this and Ryuto’s other series “Reborn as a Space Mercenary” quite a bit and thought they were doing very well.

Characters: We get to read about some new characters, but they are ones we’d known about for three volumes in the series but had yet to read about in detail, so finally getting to do so was awesome. The rest of the characters, particularly the main characters, still are great in this volume, and I like Kousuke and his wacky antics that confuse the hell out of even his friends.

Overall: A very solid entry in a fun Isekai series.
