Hey all, I’m back with a look at the year ahead for this week’s Video Game Tuesday. It’s my most anticipated 2025 video games.

Fate/EXTRA Record: A remake of one of my favorite stories, but one that sadly never got past the obscurity of its anime franchise when it first released back in 2011. Fate/EXTRA Record has a brand new combat system and completely redone graphics with full voice acting and is set to show the story of the Moon Holy Grail War. I can’t wait to play it.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond: I really liked the original trilogy of the Metroid Prime series and even got the remastered original game this past summer to play on my Switch, so I’m looking forward to playing this next entry in a series I enjoy.

Hopefully there is nothing like the EMMI sections in this though. I hated those in the Dread demo, and it’s one reason I’ve never bought Dread.

Grand Theft Auto VI: As of writing this, I’ve yet to hear the actual release date or anything about it being delayed past this year, so hopefully it’ll be sometime later this year. We got to see one trailer for it so far, and it was amazing.

Honorable Mentions

Tales of Graces f Remastered: I love the Tales of series, and Graces f is one of the better entries. I might grab a Switch copy of this to play in the summertime just to enjoy it in the coolness of my downstairs living room rather than the sweltering furnace temperatures of my own personal room where I play on my PlayStation and PC for the majority of the year when it isn’t the hell that is summer.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A: I’m interested to see what this will be like given the success of Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
