This week for Retro Game Friday I’m covering one of the weirdest games ever made. It’s Mr. Mosquito!

Plot Synopsis: The story revolves around one thing: sucking blood from the Yamada family while they go about their everyday business.

Gameplay: Like it says above, theres only one objective in the game, sucking blood. This is probably one of the weirdest games ever made, and I’m honestly surprised that it ever got localized to the US. Especially since the main character is from a race of serial killers. But hey that’s just my opinion. You had to suck blood from certain spots without the family noticing you and get a certain amount of blood in each stage.

Art: It’s aged pretty poorly, but it’s not too bad.

Music: Don’t remember a whit sorry.

Overall: If you have the opportunity give this game a shot for a while. It’s truly quirky and probably good for a few minutes of amusement.

For those who like: Bugs, Mosquitos, Quirky Games, Games with Little to No Plot, Weird Games.

Not for those who don’t like: Any of the above, particular the bug part.
