This week for Sensate Saturday I’m covering a comedy series that got my attention a while back. It’s Jitsu wa Watashi wa, or Actually I Am in English, by Eiji Masuda!

Plot Synopsis: Asahi Kuromine, a normal high school student who supposedly cannot keep a secret, finds his demeanor quickly challenged when he falls in love with his classmate Yoko Shiragami.

Plot: The plot is great, and the fact that Asahi is so easy to read is hilarious. It leads to great fun and leads to probably the best ending of a first chapter I’ve read in a while. It was great fun.

Characters: I love Asahi and Yoko’s relationship, but the entire cast is great. That being said Yoko is probably my favorite character.

Art: The art is great, and it fits this series perfectly.

Overall: If you want some laughs or some light romance, this is a great series.

For those who like: Romance, Comedy, Slice of Life, Hilarity, Great Plot, Excellent Cast of Characters, Fantastic Artwork.

Not for those who don’t like: Any of the above.
