Hey all I’m back with the second volume in the Web Novel of one of my favorite series. It’s Death March Volume 02 by Ainana Hiro!

Plot Synopsis: Satou, an adult programmer, suddenly notice that he’s been thrown into a different world while wearing a casual clothes at level 1. He gained high level and treasures after using the 3-times-disposable-magic, Meteor Shower, once. After that he intends to do different world “sightseeing tours”…

Plot: This second volume picks up after the end of the battle with the demon in Seryuu city and introduces us to a few members of the main cast of characters. It’s full of action and Satou learning new skills. This is still the beginning of the series though, so it doesn’t really start to take off until after this volume. That being said I still found these chapters to be very good.

Characters: We get to meet Zena, Liza, Pochi and Tama in these set of chapters and they’re pretty awesome additions to the cast. Satou on the other hand is finally getting used to accepting the fact that he’s in another world rather than having a lucid dream.

Overall: These chapters are still the foundation, but they’re very good. If you aren’t reading this series yet, you really ought to be.
