Ubisoft has updated Anno Online, the latest installment in the award-winning PC strategy game series, with the much-anticipated Guild System, a set of innovative features that enable increased interactivity between players, advanced larger-scope gameplay strategies, a new building, and other features. Developed by Ubisoft Blue Byte, Anno Online is a free-to-play, browser-based world-building strategy game that challenges players to build and manage a medieval kingdom and trading empire.
Anno Online is currently in Open Beta and is available to anyone that signs up or logs in with their existing Uplay account via the game’s official web site www.anno-online.com.
With today’s launch, players can now found their own Guild or find an existing guild to join. Guild leaders are able to choose a Guild name and tag, and immediately invite up to 25 members to join their group. The new Guild System allows players to communicate more freely via the dedicated Guild chat channel and establish larger gameplay strategies as a group, with each guild member helping others with shared resources and planning. The Guild System also brings a new building, the Guild Hall, which allows guild members to gather together and feel a unique guild belonging.
