Artix Entertainment, creators of online, browser-based, computer role-playing games written for Macromedia Flash, has launched a nationwide prepaid game card campaign starting with all 1,590 Target retail stores.
The prepaid game card allows Windows PC and Mac gamers to upgrade their game play in three, free-to-play Artix titles including AdventureQuest, MechQuest, and DragonFable. The card allows players to upgrade their characters and unlock exclusive areas, weapons, pets, armors, and more. Since players only need a web browser and Flash to play, they can try all three games in ten minutes, and then decide which game to use the upgrade prepaid game card for.
"Content within the games is updated on a weekly basis creating a compelling experience which keeps users coming back frequently for new content and story lines," says Daniel Vasile, Business Development Manager of Artix Entertainment. "Over 50 million registered accounts have been created for our games during the past five years."
