Got Game Entertainment LLC today confirmed a CD-Rom format and the inclusion of bonus features for the North American release of "Barrow Hill: Curse of the Ancient Circle". A release date of September 1st for this haunting adventure game was also announced. Developed by Shadow Tor Studios, "Barrow Hill: Curse of the Ancient Circle", set against the eerie landscape of Cornwall, finds you stranded on a lonely road leading to Cornwall's ancient burial ground of Barrow Hill. Following in the footsteps of archaeologist Conrad Morse, you soon discover that this barrow is frighteningly more than just a mound of earth and a collection of forgotten standing stones. Via the game's point and click interface, you must unravel a detailed and spellbinding mystery using real archaeological techniques.
In addition to the artistically detailed and moody game environments reflecting the mystical countryside of England's westernmost county, famous for its tales of pirates, ghosts, and sinister ancient sites, the included "Barrow Hill: Curse of the Ancient Circle" bonus features allow you to delve even more deeply into the supernatural wonders of the real-life Cornwall.
"Cornwall is home to some of the most mysterious and mystical sites in the world," said Got Game President Howard Horowitz. "'Barrow Hill: Curse of the Ancient Circle' brings the magic and intrigue of Cornwall so dramatically to life you'll be craving hot tea and a pasty."
