Flashman Studios, a leading business management firm in the interactive entertainment industry, announced today that it has reached a strategic representation agreement with Iron Galaxy Studios, a Chicago-based game development studio with decades of combined experience and several AAA titles under its belt. Per the agreement, Flashman will be responsible for handling all business management responsibilities for Iron Galaxy, the studio leads of which have worked on such top-tier projects as Bionic Commando, Dark Void, Supreme Commander 2 as well as several as-of-yet unannounced titles with major publishers such as Capcom Entertainment, Inc.
"Flashman brings a lot to the business side of the table, and we think the combination of our experience and their expertise will be a winning one," said Dave Lang, CEO of Iron Galaxy Studios. "Our studio is at a critical moment right now as we look to both continue our work on major, established franchises as well as original intellectual properties; Flashman Studios has proven that they have the connections and the know-how to ensure that both happen, and we’re thrilled to join their terrific roster of developers."
Comprised primarily of Midway Games veterans, Iron Galaxy Studios has helped develop major titles on every major gaming console since the original Sony PlayStation and has done so with proven results. The studio looks to continue this track record by focusing on AAA quality products with an emphasis on the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.
