Game Mechanic Studios, a full-force game development studio comprised of industry veterans with decades of combined development experience, announced today it has chosen Reverb Communications to conduct all of its public relations initiatives. In this capacity, Reverb Communications will help establish Game Mechanic Studios' brand and extend its recognition to next generation platform consumers through ongoing public relations and business development efforts.
Using custom programs designed to specifically suit Game Mechanic Studios' unique position and needs, Reverb Communications will maximize the exposure for their current and future projects as well as build a strong relationship with the gaming/enthusiast press and consumers. Reverb Communications will also handle corporate communications for Game Mechanic Studios and acquiring a publisher for all of their projects.
"The addition of Reverb to our team is not only an exciting step for us, but it also solidifies our vision as a top-tier independent game development studio," said Jason Alejandre, president and creative director of Game Mechanic Studios. "We take our games seriously, and working with an agency like Reverb that has such a tremendous track record speaks to our dedication and our goals."
Jason and the rest of the Game Mechanic Studio team are currently working on the refreshingly innovative Art of War, a previously announced next-gen first-person shooter set to evolve and advance the FPS genre.
Founded in 2008 by Alejandre and fellow respected industry veterans Jeffrey Hua and Henry Ji, Game Mechanic Studios is focused on creating high-quality, AAA titles while maintaining a small and efficient workforce with a blue-collar atmosphere and positive work environment. Some of the games the trio has worked on include Black Hawk Down, the Medal of Honor franchise, Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, Tony Hawk 3, Tony Hawk: Underground and several of the titles within the James Bond franchise of games.
"Seeing the quality of work the Game Mechanic team is capable of producing on a quick timeline, it doesn't take long to realize they are incredibly talented and motivated," said Tracie Snitker, founder and vice president of public relations of Reverb Communications. "Reverb will use our years of experience working with top-tier media to ensure that the amazing work Game Mechanic Studios is creating doesn't go unnoticed."
