Readers of Gameindustry.com have voted Fallout 4 Game of the Year 2015.
The GiN awards are voted for by gamers, with an open vote to select the big prize of Game of the Year. Fallout 4 won a total of four categories, including Best PC Game and Bext Xbox One Game, as well as Best Roleplaying Game, beating the Witcher 3.
Bethesda’s end of the world epic really struck a chord with gamers in 2015, delivering more openworld distractions, such as crafting and building, allowing gamers to make the world their own.
The second big winner of the year was Life is Strange. Holding its own with the AAA games, Dontnod’s indie teen drama won three categories, including Best Adventure Game. It comes as no surprise that Life is Strange also won Best Story, as this was the game that kept gamers on the edge of their seat with every episode. And the blue-haired rebel, Chloe Price won Most Memorable Character.
Despite leading the nominations, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt only won one category, scooping Best Original Soundtrack.
