Europe’s 3D fans had something to cheer about last night, when Sony announced that its 3D monitor will be available this Autumn. The monitor was announced at E3 and is Sony’s affordable alternative to a 3D TV. It also includes Sony’s Simulview technology, which allows to players to see two different screens. This means multiplayer without splitscreens.
The announcement came during Sony’s Gamescom press conference confirming a price of €499 (around £440), complete with two pairs of 3D glasses.
