Today GameTap, the first-of-its-kind broadband entertainment network from Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (TBS, Inc.), announces the addition of its Artist of the Month campaign showcasing a robust line-up of original music programming. This massive promotion devotes 30 days of exclusive programming with a new show premiering each week and encompasses live performances, music videos, top ten lists, interviews, and more. The campaign launches this month with The Hold Steady, followed by Fall Out Boy in February, and is running for the first time both inside and outside of the GameTap subscription service.
Among the shows the Artist of the Month campaign taps into are the following:
Quick Hit: Everything you ever wanted to know about your favorite artist in 60 seconds. Quirky, fun and always on the cutting edge.
GameTap Tracks: Music fans get access to exclusive live performances they won't find anywhere else.
Raw Tape: Raw, uncut, in-depth interviews with artists.
GameTap 10: An artist's top 10 show, often involving their favorite video games.
Web Promotion/Exclusive Streams: Exclusive video and audio streams at GameTap.com along with artist bios, pics and additional music content.
Music Videos: GameTap's music channel hosts a slew of the latest music videos.

"Artists are featured in our array of exclusive and original shows, and in return, give our audience content that can't be found anywhere else, on tv or on broadband."
To date, GameTap's music channel has featured a wide variety of artists, tours, and festivals spanning the rock, hip-hop, country and indie genres. Among those who have been featured in GameTap shows are Panic! at the Disco, Ice Cube, Lil' John, Morningwood, Wolfmother, Coheed & Cambria, Simple Plan, Dierks Bentley, Less Than Jake, All American Rejects, Flaming Lips, Taste of Chaos Tour, Warped Tour, and Lollapalooza, among many other artists.
