SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT announced today that it will be publishing and developing Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved Mobile for mobile phones. A faithful incarnation of Bizarre Creations' Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved arcade-style classic on home consoles, the mobile version brings gamers the addictive action of the original, anywhere and anytime.

Developed by SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT and Hardcore3D Wireless in conjunction with Bizarre Creations, Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved Mobile includes all of the epic gameplay fans expect. From the devious Weavers to fearsome Repulsars, slippery Snakes, and powerful Gravity Wells, all the enemies and gameplay from the original are in the mobile version, as well as the addition of new features such as numerous Challenge Modes. The translation to mobile provides incredible action and simple, configurable controls, along with spectacular visuals that will mesmerize players as they engage in a limitless, compelling challenge. Unlike anything else out there, the game lets users blast away at enemies with unparalleled precision and intensity, 360 degrees of movement and targeting.
