Independent mobile game developer Cobra Mobile announced the global launch of iBomber as a freemium title on Google Play and China Mobile for mobile and tablet. iBomber represents the first appearance on Android for the critically acclaimed iBomber series, which includes iBomber, iBomber 2 and iBomber Defense and which has been collectively downloaded over 10 million times on iOS.

Set during World War Two, the aim of iBomber is for players to complete a series of missions in which they must fly their aircraft over a range of combat zones and destroy key targets including tanks, buildings and battleships. The player must also avoid flak and ack ack guns, as well as collecting power-ups including health boosts and better weapons.

Players control their bomber by tilting their device or swiping the screen and drop bombs by tapping on the target. Each successfully completed mission earns the player in-game currency for purchasing new aircraft and weapons to boost gameplay. Players can also purchase currency to increase their aircraft’s capabilities even further.
