Lunar Tide Communications, Inc. is proud to announce that Matt Shaw, a veteran video game industry insider, will be a keynote speaker for at the America's Video Game Expo and East Coast Games Summit. Shaw's keynote, titled 'MMOs: Everyone Wants to Do One', focuses on developing Massive Multiplayer Online Games with key learnings shared from the development of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.

Shaw, Chief Technology Officer at Mythic Entertainment, an Electronic Arts Inc. studio, (NASDAQ: ERTS), will be discussing recent developments in constructing Massive Multiplayer Online Games (MMOs) MMO game projects are often ambitious endeavors many companies strive to launch and make successful in the marketplace, but more often end in failure. Shaw will depict the lessons learned over the years while constructing MMOs, and the differences one faces when compared to development of traditional single player games.

"The multi-year development process of MMOs may seem similar to single player games, but the challenges are in fact quite different," stated Shaw. "Many companies start making MMOs, many never launch, most fail. This keynote will discuss lessons learned over the years and go over the key differences in developing MMOs versus single player games."

Shaw, a 19-year veteran of the games industry, hopes his experience and knowledge of creating and implementing new technology will prove to be enlightening to game fans, and industry insiders, in attendance at his keynote.
