Are you the master of pop culture trivia? Get ready to put your skills to the test and earn your title in the mobile version of Scene It? Movie Edition by Namco - all through your mobile phone.
Namco Networks, a leading publisher and developer of wireless games and content, and Screenlife, LLC, the pioneer of the booming DVD game industry, today announced the availability of Scene It? Movie Edition for mobile phones.
Loaded with more than a thousand questions including movie clips, trivia questions and puzzlers, Scene It? Movie Edition lets players relive the greatest movie moments from some of Hollywood's hottest films. Taking advantage of the mobile phone's capabilities, the game offers text, audio and video questions, making it the first mobile game to integrate video into the game play.
Favorite categories from the DVD edition return in the mobile version, including Invisibles, Take 3, Rising Star and more. Today, the mobile game features more than a thousand questions; however, the networked nature of the mobile phone gives players access to a growing collection of questions that are sent to the phone during play.
"Scene It? Movie Edition is unlike any trivia game currently available," said Scott Rubin, vice president of sales and marketing, for Namco Networks. "It's the first game with multimedia game play available on North American mobile phones, and we are very excited to be bringing such a great game to the mobile platform."
Players can choose from quick rounds or non-stop play modes for single players, or group play mode is available for two or more players. Also utilizing the phone's network connectivity is the ‘New Release' section, which provides new packets of themed questions and weekly trivia challenges. Players enjoying Scene It? New Release games can also compare their performance to players across the country who have played the same trivia packets.
"The mobile version Scene It? Movie Edition is movie trivia at its very best," said Dave Long, CEO of Screenlife. "Fans of Scene It? will be pleased at how well their favorite DVD board game translates to mobile. It has all of the entertaining, interactive elements of the DVD version combined with the mobile game quality that fans have come to expect from Namco, making Scene It? for mobile a great game that can now be played anywhere."
