The tournament is one of the playable modes in the game’s main menu. As well as playing out the World Cup Tournament, players can also take part in other international tournaments and leagues like the Premier League, Serie A and the Bundesliga. Unlike the Career Mode, players do not have the ability to alter their teams by signing new stars to the side that they are managing. Furthermore, once the tournament ends then the game mode is over.
The World Cup Mode is a perfect way to get excited for the tournament later in the year. Gamers can pick the national side they want to play as before trying to make it through the group stages and as far as possible. Players will need to deal with real world problems that a coach would, with injuries and suspensions likely to have an impact on the team that you are able to field.

Special commentaries are also likely to be included, which will make the World Cup an exciting mode for players to play. We are most intrigued about how FIFA 2023 includes the winter World Cup in the Career Mode.
