Fans of the railway simulation Railroads Online can look forward to more content on the railway simulation’s birthday. Developer Stefan Kelnberger and publisher astragon Entertainment are making more brand-new content free of charge available to the community. A new map, a new locomotive and more building variations will add even more content to Railroads Online.

A new map called Lake Valley will be added as an open sandbox game world. The map, which is also inspired by North American landscapes, features iconic mountains and a large lake in the middle of the map, which will have a major influence on the construction of your own railway network.

Key Features of the New Update:

• There’s a whole new world map waiting to be explored in Lake Valley. A beautiful lake, a relentless desert, and mysterious swamps.

• Players can now place all industries freely on the map. This opens the opportunity for more interesting routes. Open the construction menu, click on “Industries”, select an industry building and the choice is yours.

• New props including a brand-new church and a waiting shed have been added to decorate your map.

• A coal fired Lima Locomotive Works 2-8-0 and a Denver, South Park and Pacific Railroads Passenger Coach.

Railroads Online is in Early Access on Steam and costs $34.99.
