Respawn – Gathering of Game Developers announces its program for the second installment of the game developers convention from 12 to 13 August in Cologne. This year’s presentations, workshops and discussions will cast a spotlight on the impact of the new indie gaming culture on the general development of modern computer and video games. Respawn provides a forum for industry professionals, indie developers and students to share their expertise on all aspect of game development. Respawn will also debut its “Pitch & Match” format to help games companies arrange meetings with potential business partners systematically and effectively. Renowned international speakers await visitors at this year’s Respawn, including Peter Alau (Apportable), Odile Limpach (Ubisoft Blue Byte), Fasih Sayin (Crytek), Jon Hare (Tower Studios), Teut Weidemann (Freelance Online Game Supervisor), Oscar Clark (Unity) and Martijn Wenting (Bitstorm Games).
