MumboJumbo, leading developer and publisher of casual games, today released the fourth chapter in the Samantha Swift series for the PC. The hidden-object adventure game, titled Fountains of Fate, is available for PC download exclusively at BigFishGames.com. The iPad version of the game will become available in the coming month.
"This chapter really takes a closer look at Sam’s arch nemesis, Markus Payne, while also exploring the lore of the Fountain of Youth," said Mark Cottam, CEO of MumboJumbo. "We’re really excited about the quality of this game-this has a great story with mystery and intrigue, lots of puzzles to solve, and a nice mix of adventure and hidden-object game play."
In Samantha Swift and the Fountains of Fate, Samantha’s quest to follow the trail of Cortez is interrupted by the manipulative M’Alice. Sam grabs her PDA and scanner and goes on the hunt for M’Alice and the Emerald of Judgment, only to discover that perhaps the real treasure lies in the statuette with mysterious empty vials. Soon Samantha discovers she’s on a quest to uncover the Fountain of Youth.
"Later this month, Fountains of Fate will be available on the iPad, which will introduce the Samantha franchise to a whole new audience," said Cottam. "It looks great on the iPad, and we think that hidden-object adventure fans will enjoy what this series has to offer."
This installment of Samantha Swift includes six adventure missions, and the player can unlock an Unlimited Hidden Object mode by collecting all of the Swift Birds throughout the game. The game incorporates brain-teasing puzzles, and achievements have been introduced, which are awarded for skillful play. The search for the Fountain of Youth takes the player around the globe, and the artifacts collected along the way are added to the Museum of Secrets Lost.
Samantha Swift and the Fountains of Fate is available for digital download exclusively at BigFishGames.com for the next 30 days. To learn more about Samantha Swift, go to www.mumbojumbo.com.
